The JW Isenhour Tennis Stadium project consisted of a complete removal and reconstruction of existing outdoor tennis court facility and replacement with a start of the art facility with an improved surface for play. This project was performed by faulkner edc’s Tommy Faulkner while leading his previous firm. The scope of the project also included a new seating area for viewing of the NCAA matches as well as a work out space contained within the new seating structure. Mr. Faulkner’s role on the project was as owner’s representative to aid in the delivery of the project while also managing certain design aspects and the quality assurance program. Therefore he or his designee were on site weekly to inspect and test the subsurface soils, aggregate and asphalt that made up the new surface. The project has served as a great enhancement to the tennis program since completion.
